Haulover Park Beach, is one of the largest nude beaches in the United States. It offers a relaxed, open-minded, clothing-optional scene that attracts over 1.3 million visitors a year.

Miami’s Only Official Nude Beach

Haulover Park Beach has earned a global reputation, consistently ranking among the Top 10 nude beaches worldwide. Officially designated as a clothing-optional beach since 1991, it’s the go-to destination in Miami for those seeking a seamless, all-over tan.

Spanning 1.5 miles, Haulover Beach is located about 10 miles north of South Beach, nestled between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach. The nude section is clearly marked and occupies the northernmost half-mile of the shoreline, making it easy to find and comfortably discreet.

Parking is $7 per vehicle, with free parking available for handicapped visitors.

Etiquette And What To Expect

Maybe you’re contemplating trying the clothing-optional beach experience, but don’t know what to expect when you get there. Here’s the basic etiquette.

Respect others’ privacy. Although naturists are typically a friendly bunch, some may not want to divulge personal information about themselves. Do not take photos of anyone without permission.
Don’t forget your towel.
No staring. Although it might be tempting if it's your first time at a nude beach, don’t stare or gawk.
No sexual activity is allowed. Just as in any other public space, acting in any sexual manner can have you arrested. Also, any type of harassment is not allowed.
Come with an accepting and open mind.
Follow general beach rules, like leaving with what you came with and making sure your area is left clean.

Remember: There will be a variety of sunbathers, swimmers and groups mingling on the sand and in the water. Some will have their clothes on. So, if you change your mind about going completely bare, you can always keep your clothes on, too.
