A closing-night screening brings the 29th Miami Jewish Film Festival to a powerful conclusion at the Miami Beach Bandshell with the Israeli drama The Ring, an International Emmy Award–winning film that blends historical memory with contemporary family reckoning.
Taking place on Thursday, January 29, the film marks a major return for acclaimed Israeli actor and comedian Adir Miller, who co-writes, co-directs and stars alongside directors Doron and Yoav Paz. Inspired by Miller’s own family history, The Ring opens in wartime Budapest, where a single act of desperation and courage saves a mother and child.
