Miami’s largest gathering of jazz, R&B and hip-hop artists, Jazz in the Gardens returns to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens for its 19th edition, March 7 and 8. The festival will be headlined by world-famous mainstream artists along with local performers, up-and-coming acts and talented students. Here’s what you can expect.

This year’s lineup will provide festivalgoers with a mix of nostalgia and new music, with hits from the 1990s to today. R&B superstar Jhené Aiko, best known for “The Worst” and “While We’re Young,” will be among the headliners. She has also collaborated with Big Sean and Lil Wayne on “Beware” and Kendrick Lamar on “Stay Ready.”

Other big headliners include hip-hop and movie star Ludacris, who’ll perform a special 25th anniversary set. The “Fast & Furious” and “Hustle & Flow” star will draw from a quarter-decade of his music for what promises to be an historic performance.

Fans of music from the 2000s will want to catch Nelly and Ashanti performing together, as well as “My Love is Like…Wo” performer Mya. Other top-line acts will include Ella Mai, Glorilla and Joe.

Hip-hop godfather D-Nice will host a special “D-Nice & Friends” set, with pioneering female vocal R&B group SWV topping the bill. D-Nice’s friend list will also include Robin Thicke (known for the song “Blurred Lines”), Sunshine Anderson, and Kenny Burns.

The lineup also includes Tonio Armani and King George as well as special appearances by a jazz ensemble from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.

Tickets & Seating

The ultimate ticket to Jazz in the Gardens is the Titanium level, where $1,900 gets you an elevated seating area with access to stage viewing, an open bar, a food buffet and a dedicated bathroom.
